Blues book date with Evergreen

FREEBOOTERS booked a place in the last 64 of the FAI Junior Cup with a fine 4-1 victory over Rosslare Rangers at the Fair Green, Kilkenny, on  Sunday morning.
Goals by Dean and Aaron Broaders, Ben Ryan and Des Hayes booked a last 64  spot against their Kilkenny rivals Evergreen. At stake will be a place  in the last 32 of the national cup when the clubs meet at The Kells Road ground, Kilkenny on January 10.
The Blues went ahead early on in Sunday's game but a defensive error just before half time saw the Wexford Premier League visitors equalise.
After the break it was all ’Booters and they went on to add three goals to copperfasten a deserved win.
In t5he Leinster Junior Cup on January 3, Freebooters meet OMP of Meath.
