Butts bank breaks saving records

A RECORD breaking savings year has been reported by the Butts Community Savings Bank as many more families responded to the harsher and uncertain economic climate by trying to save a little extra each week
And last week, the Bank handed out a six figure sum to savers who had been wise enough to put a little away each week for Christmas time.
There are now more than two hundred local families using the Bank and children account for nearly half the membership.
